The Invitation

Invest in rising together

That pull — like the two of you keep circling the same patterns, over and over. You sense it. Your relationship isn't broken; the patterns just have you on autopilot, and breaking free, together, is the hard part.

This isn't a retreat where you sit back and listen. It's real, it's raw, and it's a chance to really see each other — getting curious about why you react the way you do, what it's protecting, and what's possible on the other side.

Surface the pattern. Break the grip. Ride the freedom somewhere new — together.

Format

Group practice, somatic work, and dedicated time as a couple — woven into one cohesive journey.

The Approach

More presence, more aliveness

Most approaches to relationship work take your patterns for granted — they help you make the room you're in more comfortable. We work differently.

Together, we loosen your grip on the patterns and stories you've mistaken for the truth of who you are — and who you are together. Through embodied practice and relational experimentation, you discover something radical: your relationship can change. Not by trying harder, but by holding it — and each other — more loosely.

"We get dysregulated when we think we need to follow certain rules to be safe. The first step is to break those rules in a low-stakes way. This frees up energy — which we then learn to direct fruitfully in our relationship."

Pattern Breaking

Identify the loops that keep you stuck, then practice something different — in real time, together.

🌊

Nervous System

Learn to regulate your body so you can stay present with your partner when things get real — instead of freezing, fleeing, or fighting.

Somatic Awareness

Drop from the story in your head into the wisdom of your body. Sensation is information. Presence is practice.

💛

Relational Practice

Transformation doesn't happen alone. You grow in relationship — by being seen, seeing each other, and staying when it's hard.

Sofia-Jeanne Caring

Sofia-Jeanne Caring

The Relational School

Sofia-Jeanne grew up in New York City and has practiced meditation since 2010, including years of residential training. Her guiding work is what she calls Relational Liberation — helping people loosen the patterns, defenses, and stories they've mistaken for who they are, so that what's possible between them can come alive. She runs The Relational School, leads the weekly Pattern Break practice group, and has co-led retreats including the Anti-Fragile Heart Retreat in Asheville, NC.

Corey Hunter

Corey Hunter

Love Coach Academy

Corey Hunter is the son of lifelong relationship therapist Elayne Hunter, and has carried on the family tradition for the past five-plus years — coaching couples in New York City, Guatemala, California, Austin, and Europe. Drawing on years of Nonduality and Circling practice, he helps people slow down, unpack what they're really feeling, and meet each other through a lens of gratitude, wonder, and play. His core belief: conflict is either a miscommunication or a plea to express something difficult — and every couple deserves a brave space to find truth and clarity together. He's co-facilitated retreats with Sofia-Jeanne before in Asheville, NC.
